Round Rock Fire Crews Put Out Fire At Abandoned Building Northwest Of Interstate 35 [UPDATED]
The blaze engulfed A structure northwest of Chisholm Trail and Sam Bass Road, according to fire officials.

ROUND ROCK, TX — Fire crews quickly extinguished a fire at an abandoned building surrounded by older homes Tuesday evening, officials said.
Fire officials received reports of a vacant building on fire just after 8 p.m.. The fire chief told KVUE the structure is in close proximity to older homes, but they emergency crews were able to extinguish the blaze just before 9 p.m.
The blaze northwest of Chisholm Trail and Sam Bass Road, northwest of Interstate 35, was initially reported by eyewitnesses posting pictures of the conflagration on Twitter.

One eyewitness, Aaron Carpenter, told Patch via Twitter that he just happened by when he saw the flames. He quickly began to film from a distance and posted the footage and photos on his Twitter account.
The cause of the fire is under investigtion.
