Mr. Raney, a teacher at Forest North Elementary, posted a photo of "Bubbles" the beta fish in a tank buckled into the front seat of his car. "When there's an unexpected 4 day weekend due to inclement weather and the school fish needs to crash on your couch for a few days," wrote Raney in a Twitter post. (KXAN.com)

Beginning today (Feb. 3) through the 28th, the Round Rock Public Library will be exhibiting is a collection of photos by Melissa Fontenette-Mitchell highlighting "the contributions of many African American families to the growth and success of Round Rock." - The Round Rock unemployment rate was just below 3 percent as of December 2021. According to the latest figures from the Texas Workforce Commission, unemployment in the area started at 4.8 percent in January 2021 and dropped to 2.6 by the end of the year.
