California-Based Diagnostics Technology Firm Relocating To Round Rock
Singulex unit Veridia Diagnostics will move into existing 36,000-square-foot site at 106 Old Settlers Blvd., creating 100 local jobs.

ROUND ROCK, TX — A California-based diagnostics technology firm is relocating its clinical lab facility to Round Rock in adding 100 jobs to the local economy, according to a published report.
Singulex officials on Thursday announced the planned relocation of their lab from Alameda, Calif., as reported by the Austin American-Statesman. The facility dubbed Veridia Diagnostics is expected to hire 100 workers at its opening, officials said in their announcement.
The move will be into an existing 36,000-square-foot site at 106 Old Settlers Blvd. near Round Rock Toyota and Round Rock Honda, according to the report. To that end, a five-year lease for the space has been signed. No timeline as to the move-in date was provided.

Guido Baechler, Singulex president and CEO cited Round Rock's favorable quality of life, strong public education, health care infrastructure and affordable housing as factors that prompted the move, the Statesman reported.
