Cedar Ridge High School Student Tapped To Attend Prestigious Journalism Workshop
Cesar Haros selected from a very short list to attend the five-day, all-expenses paid academy in Washington, D.C. this summer.

ROUND ROCK, TX -- A Cedar Ridge High School student has been chosen to attend a highly competitive journalism workshop to which less than 20 students nationwide are invited.
Cesar Haros, an Advanced Audio/Video Production student at the high school was chosen by the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) to attend the Student Reporting Labs Academy in Washington, D.C., district officials announced.
Students from all over the country applied for a workshop slot, but only 18 were picked to attend the all-expense paid, five-day academy.

At the workshop, students work with PBS media mentors in producing original digital content while sharpening their journalism and production skills, district officials note.
