Here are the top stories in Round Rock today:
- Weather officials issued a Winter Storm Warning for the Round Rock area on Thursday, lasting from 3:00 am to 9:00 pm. The cold weather is expected to stick around over the weekend with temperatures dipping as low as 19 degrees tonight (Friday, Feb. 4) and 22 degrees on Saturday. (Round Rock Patch)
- According to a company press release, the national electronics repair chain uBreakiFix by Asurion opened a Round Rock location on Feb. 1. The company offers same-day repairs for many devices, including phones, tablets, computers, and gaming consoles. The company accepts both walk-ins and appointments. (Community Impact)
- Due to inclement weather, City offices and facilities in Round Rock will be closed today, Feb. 4. Among the closed buildings include Round Rock Public Library, Municipal Court, Baca Center, Clay Madsen Recreation Center, and Utility Billing Office. Round Rock Refuse will not pick up garbage and recycling on Friday due to landfill closures. (City of Round Rock)
