Commissioners Court Appoints New Director Of Administration

Rebecca Clemons is responsible for performing observational business-operations reviews, conducting research and analyzing data.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS — The Williamson County Commissioners Court appointed Rebecca Clemons to the newly created position of director of administration for Williamson County, officials announced Tuesday.

The position reports to the commissioners court and is responsible for performing observational business-operations reviews, conducting research and analyzing data to provide information regarding business process updates, staffing or resources, serves as a liaison between the Commissioners Court and elected officials, provides legislative updates, and represents the County in economic development opportunities. She will start in the new position Oct. 19.

She has been employed by Williamson County for 12 years. She has worked for the County Auditor, Budget Officer, and is currently employed as the executive assistant to County Judge Dan Gattis. Clemons is a 2001 graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing.
