Completion Of 2 Key Round Rock Road Projects Celebrated
Interstate 35 at FM 3406 (Old Settlers Boulevard) bridge reconstruction project and I-35 from RM 1431 to FM 3406 projects are completed.

ROUND ROCK, TEXAS — Texas transportation officials are celebrating the completion of two key road projects in Round Rock.
One of the projects to be spotlighted at a ribbon-cutting ceremony this weeks is the Interstate 35 at FM 3406 (Old Settlers Boulevard) bridge reconstruction project. The other project, I-35 from RM 1431 to FM 3406 southbound features improved entrances and exits to the highway and provides a shared-use path for bicyclists and pedestrians.
The collective cost of the projects was $21.6 million, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.

To celebrate the projects' completion, TxDot officials have scheduled a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday at 2 p.m. in the Denny’s parking lot along the southbound I-35 frontage road.
