Coronavirus: 9 More Cases Bring WilCo Total To 167

Williamson County health officials update the rate of illness daily on a dashboard that is updated daily just past noon.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX β€” County health officials on Wednesday reported that nine more cases of new coronavirus have been positively identified, bringing the total illness count in Williamson County to 167.

The updated data was input on a dashboard that can be found here: www.wcchd.org/COVID-19/dashboard.php. The data is updated just past noon daily. Cases in "Other cities in Williamson County" column are a combined total that include cities with populations below 20,000 and unincorporated Williamson to protect the privacy of residents.

Those with symptoms of respiratory illness β€” including cough, fever and shortness of breath β€” are urged to contact ther health care providers. However, health officials stress the importance of calling ahead before arriving at a clinic, urgent care or emergency department to avoid potential spread.
