Coronavirus: WilCo Illness Count Grows To 146, With 6 New Cases
The number of people who have contracted the new coronavirus grew by six patients over the course of 24 hours, officials said.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX β Six additional cases of the new coronavirus were confirmed in Williamson County over the last 24 hours, bringing to total to 146, health officials said.
The updated figures were logged by the Williamson County and Cities Health District, which updates the numbers at around noon each day. On a data-filled dashboard, health officials note that 83 people have recovered from the illness after being infected.
Additional COVID-19 deaths and cases will be reported on the dashboard located at www.wcchd.org/COVID-19/dashboard.php. Cases in "Other cities in Williamson County" column are a combined total that include cities with populations below 20,000 and unincorporated Williamson to protect the privacy of residents, health officials explained.

Those with symptoms of respiratory illness β including cough, fever and shortness of breath βare urged to contact their health care providers. Official note, however, that it's important to call ahead before arriving at a clinic, urgent care or emergency department to avoid potential spread.
