Coronavirus: WilCo Illness Count Grows By 15 To 182
The level of illness in Williamson County grew by a sizable number over the past 24 hours, although 115 have since recovered.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX β In the past 24 hours, 15 new cases of new coronavirus were diagnosed in Williamson County, bringing the total number to 182.
Of those afflicted, health officials said 11 people are currently hospitalized. In updating the numbers, Williamson County and Cities Health District officials noted 115 people have recovered since contracting the COVID-19 virus. To date, five people have died of the ailment.
New information has been added to the dashboard to display the case count by ZIP code, health offficials said in providing the updated figures. To see a map showing illness concentration per ZIP code, click here.

Cases in "Other cities in Williamson County" column are a combined total that include cities with populations below 20,000 and unincorporated Williamson to protect the privacy of residents, officials added.
Those with symptoms of respiratory illness β including cough, fever and shortness of breath β are urged to contact their health care providers. However, officials stressed that it's important to call ahead before arriving at a clinic, urgent care or emergency department to avoid potential spread.
