Coronavirus: WilCo Illness Count Grows To 630, 1 More Death
Williamson County and Cities Health District officials reported that 10 people are currently hospitalized, four of them on ventilators.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX β The number of cases of the coronavirus grew by nine on Monday, rising to a historical count of 630. Another death was reported, briging the fatality count to 25.
The statistics are compiled by Williamson County and Cities Health District officials on a dashboard now updated by 4:30 p.m. daily. According to the dashboard data, 390 people have recovered from the respiratory illness since the onset of illness.
There are 10 patients currently hospitalized, according to the dashboard, four of whom are on ventilators.

The latest person to die of the respiratory illness was a woman in her 80s, health officials said. Privacy laws prevent county officials from disclosing further details.

βToday, we reflect upon another life lost to COVID-19, and our hearts go out to this womanβs family and loved ones," Williamson County Judge Bill Gravell said in a prepared statement on Monday. "As we continue to re-open our offices, businesses, and churches, let us be sure to also take steps to keep each other safe. Stay home if you feel sick, keep at least six feet of distance between you and someone else, wash your hands and frequently touches surfaces often, and wear a mask in public. These things will protect you and those around you.β

Those with symptoms of respiratory illness β including cough, fever, and shortness of breath β are urged to contact their health care providers.
