Coronavirus: WilCo Illness Count Nears 100 With 10 New Cases
While 40 residents have recovered after bring diagnosed with respiratory illness, the number of sick people continues to grow.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX β Ten more coronavirus cases were confirmed in Williamson County on Wednesday, bringing the total to 97.
In providing the grim update, Williamson County and Cities Health Districtofficials noted that 40 county residents have recovered from the respiratory illness caused by the COVID-19 virus.
Health officials said additional COVID-19 deaths and cases will be reported on the dashboard located at www.wcchd.org/COVID-19/dashboard.php. The dashboard is updated just past noon daily. Cases in "Other cities in Williamson County" column are a combined total that include cities with populations below 20,000 and unincorporated Williamson to protect the privacy of residents.

Those with symptoms of respiratory illness β including cough, fever and shortness of breath β are urged to contact their health care providers. Health officials noted it's important to call ahead before arriving at a clinic, urgent care or emergency department to avoid potential spread.
