Coronavirus: Williamson County Illness Count Crosses 400 Mark

The number of new coronavirus cases in Williamson County grew by 27 in the past 24 hours to 424; death count remains at 16.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX — The number of new coronavirus cases in Williamson County grew by 27 in the past 24 hours to 424 on Wednesday. No new deaths were reported.

The updated illness count was tabulated on a dashboard updated daily by the Williamson County and Cities Health District. On Monday, health officials reported two more people had succumbed to the respiratory illness, bringing the death count to 16 as the illness count stood at 397.

Monday's raised illness count represented a 13-case increase from the previous day, as tabulated on the dashboard.
