ROUND ROCK, TX — A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle late Thursday. An elderly man died at the scene after being hit by a car on <a href="http://www.statesman.com/news/local/breaking-driver-hits-kills-elderly-pedestrian-620-west-police-say/N6WJc6dlqqhqI44r68fW7L/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">RM 620</a> just west of Interstate 35, police told the Austin American-Statesman. The incident occurred at around 7:30 p.m., prompting closure of westbound RM 620 hours later well into the night while police investigated the scene, according to the report.Police said the motorist stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators. It's unclear if any charges will be filed.
