Frisco Weekly Coronavirus Update: August 22 - 28, 2020

The Department of State Health Services (DSHS) continues to update its databases. As a result, today’s Collin County dashboard reflects a backlog of cases. We’ve been advised to expect fluctuation of numbers while upgrades to the system stabilize.

Frisco added 75 cumulative cases, including 75 recoveries and one death between August 22-28. Please note (as mentioned above): some of the ‘75’ cases may be previously unreported and ‘older’ cases. That means Frisco has 499 active cases, 834 recoveries and 9 deaths between both Collin and Denton counties.

Frisco reminds everyone to take advantage of the free, saliva test being offered by the state, here at a testing site in Frisco. Check out FriscoTexas.gov/coronavirus for more information on this testing and more information about the situation in Frisco.
