Holiday Decorations Thieves Hit Round Rock

At least two residents have reported having their inflatable decorations stolen from their yards by a real-life Grinch.

ROUND ROCK, TX — A real-life Grinch stealing Christmas is making the rounds in Round Rock where several residents have reported having their holiday inflatable decorations stolen, according to a published report.

CBS Austin interviewed one Round Rock resident who has long decorated her yard with an inflatable dog that was meant as a tribute to the family's real-life corgi. Melanie Sexton told the news station she recently pulled out of her garage to see the decoration had been stolen.

Just a few miles away, at the Links of Forest Creek apartment complex, the news station interviewed another woman whose inflatable snowman was swiped — a theft that hit the victim's son struggling with Down syndrome especially hard.
