Long-Awaited Round Rock Multipurpose Complex Scheduled For Opening
Facility at Old Settlers Park featuring two championship fields, eight multipurpose ones expected to draw thousands for athletic play.
ROUND ROCK, TX — The long-awaited Round Rock Multipurpose Complex is inching toward its grand opening.
City officials have scheduled a grand opening for the facility, a 60-acre, $27 million addition to the 645-acre Old Settlers Park. The place features two championship fields and eight multipurpose fields (four grass, four turf) for athletic play. It's expected to eventually lure thousands of players and spectators annually for a variety of sporting events.
The formal unveiling is scheduled on May 18 at 4:30 p.m.
