McNeil High School Student Arrested After Terroristic Threat
Round Rock ISD officials wouldn't specify the nature of the threat, but said student was suspended before being placed in custody.

ROUND ROCK, TEXAS — A McNeil High School student was recently arrested for making a terroristic threat, according to a published report.
The Williamson County Sheriff's Office made the arrest after the threat made by the unidentified juvenile on Friday, the Austin American-Statesman reported. Parents were alerted to the arrest in a letter from school Principal Amanda Johnson, according to the report.
Located at 5720 McNeil Dr. in Austin, the school is part of the Round Rock ISD. The letter involved a broad threat aimed at the school, but officials declined to provide further details as to its contents. The student was suspended from campus before being arrested, according to the report.

“As the welfare of our students and staff is always our No. 1 priority, I want to assure you that at no time were any students and staff at McNeil in danger,” the letter sent home to parents read in part.
