Moe's Southwest Grill Coming To Round Rock

The Tex-Mex eatery will be located next to the HEB Plus at the Shops of Palm Valley shopping center.

ROUND ROCK, TX -- Moe's Southwest Grill, a Tex-Mex eatery with its "...endless variety of meats" is coming to Round Rock.

The Weitzman Group, which represented the eatery in the lease, announced the move in a press release. It is they who describe Moe's as having the aforementioned endless meats, "...with a customizable Mexican menu" to boot.

There are more than 20 Moe's in Texas, including two in Austin located at 2270 Guadalupe St. and 500 Canyon Ridge. Other than those, the nearest Moe's is located at Pat Booker Road in Live Oak, Texas, a town located on the outskirts of San Antonio.

All told, there are more than 600 Moe's Southwest Grill locations in the U.S. and abroad, according to the company's website. The fare runs the gamut in terms of culinary preferences, "...from meat lovers to tree huggers to vegetarian and low-calorie options -- all served with chips and salsa."

Restaurant officials describe a casual dining environment, where hosts greet entering patrons with an enthuisastic "Welcome to Moe's!" a phrase they company officials have trademarked.

"It's more than just our rally cry," company officials explained. "It embodies the entire culture. Everybody is welcome at Moes. Except, of course, fugitives."

As we said: It's a decidedly relaxed vibe they have there.

The company offer more than 20 fresh ingredients, such as "natural chicken," grass-fed steak and organic tofu. Burritos are a menu staple. Moe's also distinguishes itself from other eateries with a selection of music "...that pays homage to dearly department musicians," company officials note on their website. "It's safe to say we roll to our own beat."

The Atlanta-based chain was founded in 2000.
