Here are the top three stories today in Round Rock:
- If you've ever wanted to sing the national anthem at the big game, now's your chance to make that dream come true. Round Rock Express is holding auditions on Feb. 16 for group and individual performers for the 2022 season. Auditions will be held at the Kilimanjaro Ballroom Suite #1 at Kalahari Resorts & Conventions, located across the street from the Dell Diamond. (KVUE.com)
- Gaggle, a company contracted by Round Rock ISD and other districts to monitor student online activity, has seen a worrisome spike in alarming incidents involving Texas students. This year alone, the company has flagged and reported 43,000 incidents of bullying, self-harm, suicidal ideation, and school violence across the districts it serves — an increase of 225 percent from the previous school year. - The Williamson County and Cities Health District is offering walk-in COVID vaccines and boosters, as well as free flu shots, every Tuesday at the Taylor Public Health Center. Hours are 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. or while supplies last; both Pfizer and Moderna COVID vaccines are available. (Williamson County and Cities Health District)

- The Central Texas Mobility Authority held a virtual groundbreaking for its 183 North Bility Project, through which the organization planted trees across Round Rock ISD schools. (Round Rock ISD News)
- Thanks to volunteers with the Friends of the Library, donations are now being accepted again at Round Rock Public Library. (Facebook)
- As of yesterday, burger chain P. Terry's is open for business in Round Rock. (Community Impact Newspaper)
