Northbound Dallas Parkway Closed Between Panther Creek Pkwy And Pga Pkwy Each Night In October

Drivers are urged to use caution in the work zone and consider using the Waze app to navigate around road closures.

September 30, 2020

(September 30, 2020) Starting Thursday night, the northbound Dallas Pkwy frontage road will be closed between Panther Creek Pkwy and PGA Pkwy (formerly Rockhill Pkwy) every night in October while NTTA constructs the new Tollway overpass over US 380. The road will close each night at 8 p.m. and will reopen the following morning by 6 a.m.

During each road closure, traffic that would normally travel on northbound Dallas Pkwy north of Panther Creek Pkwy will need to use Eldorado Pkwy, Preston Rd, and PGA Pkwy as a detour route around the closure (see attached PDF of map). This detour starts a mile in advance of the location where the road is actually closed, so northbound drivers should pay special attention to the posted detour signs.

Traffic on the main lanes of the Dallas North Tollway will not be interrupted. However, the northbound exit ramp to PGA Pkwy will be closed. Therefore, any traffic on the northbound Tollway planning to exit to PGA Pkwy will need to use the earlier exit ramp to Eldorado Pkwy and follow the detour described above.
