- Do you operate a Round Rock business that requires a permit or plan to become a foster parent? Williamson County and Cities Health District has announced the launch of a new permitting and inspection software called MyPermitNow to make the process easier. The District says the software will "consolidate permit application submittal, plan review, and inspection experience for customers through convenient online services." According to a social media post, county retail food establishments, restaurants, commercial pool/spa inspections, childcare facilities, and individuals applying for foster care inspections will be able to use MyPermitNow. - As Valentine's Day approaches, a Round Rock-based group took some time to show some love for the dedicated teachers and staff of Round Rock ISD. Parent volunteers with Helping Hands for Round Rock ISD put up signs at 62 campuses and facilities across the district on Tuesday. The signs featured hearts and messages of encouragement and appreciation. "This is just one reminder that we really love you, teachers and staff," said group founder and former teacher Laura Unnach.
