Pflugerville Man Arrested In Round Rock After Threatening Officer

"I'm going to kill you!" Elmer Graham, 35, is said to have screamed at officer before spitting in his face, drawing a felony charge.

ROUND ROCK, TX — A Pflugerville man as recently accused of threatening a police offer after having threatened to a responding officer at at Target store where he had been accused of yelling and chasing customers.

That threatening a cop stuff is no small matter. Elmer Graham, 35, was charged with retaliation as a result, now facing a third-degree felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison.

According to a report in the Austin American-Statesman, police were called to the Target store at 121 Louis Henna Blvd. in Round Rock last Friday at around 7:20 p.m. after a man later identified as Graham was said to have been yelling at customers after being told to leave the premises.

Graham left the store, but proceeded to chase customers in the parking lot, according to an arrest affidavit referenced by the newspaper. The responding officer noticed Graham had rammed his truck into a tree. Graham is said to have gotten out of this crashed truck, throw what was later found to be a marijuana pipe at the officer and yelling "I'm going to kill you!"

Graham was promptly tasered and handcuffed as a result, according to the affidavit. While handcuffed, Graham is accused of having spit at the officer's face.

Graham was booked into Williamson County Jail on Saturday before being released after posting $5,000 bail.
