Round Rock Police Seek Public's Help Finding Hit-And-Run Driver
On Feb. 25, police responded to a report of a pedestrian walking along I-35 only to find victim dead after motorist fled the scene.

ROUND ROCK, TX — Police are seeking help from the public in helping solve a case involving the recent death of a pedestrian along Interstate 35 earlier this week.
The incident dates to Sunday, Feb. 25, when police responded to a report of a pedestrian walking along I-35. By the time police arrived at the scene, the pedestrian had been fatally stuck by a motorist who fled the scene. Police have identified the victim as Amir Azad.
Police are asking for any dashcam footage from citizens with have the technology who may have driven on I-35 in Round Rock between the hours of 5 a.m. and 7 a.m.

This is the incident that led to a police officer sustaining injuries after he was hit by another car as he directed traffic. A man has since been arrested for that incident, but no suspect has emerged in the death of the pedestrian hours earlier.
