Rehabilitation Hospital Offering Inpatient, Outpatient Care Opens In Round Rock

ROUND ROCK, TX — Hospital officials on Friday announced the development of a rehabilitation hospital providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient therapy services in Round Rock.

Medistar Corp. Post Acute Medical, LLC officials announced completion of the development of PAM Rehabilitation Hospital of Round Rock. Operated by PAM, the modern 48,000-square-foot inpatient rehabilitation hospital will provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient therapy services for families in Round Rock and other communities surrounding Austin, officials said.

The state-of-the art, 40-bed facility will be located in the master planned community of Avery Ranch, near the intersection of Medical Center Way and North A.W. Grimes Boulevard and neighboring the Round Rock Campuses of Texas A&M Health Science Center, Texas State University, and Austin Community College.

PAM Rehabilitation Hospital of Round Rock will feature a specially designed unit for the treatment needs of individuals who have suffered traumatic brain injury, stroke or neurodegenerative disorders, such as Parkinson's disease, officials said.

PAM Rehabilitation Hospital of Round Rock is the seventh project of Medistar and Post Acute Medical, according to hospital officials. The companies' experience includes current and recently completed inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and long-term acute care hospitals in Texas, Kansas, Oklahoma and Arizona, company officials added.
