Round Rock 4th Of July Fireworks: 2019 Guide, Scheduled Time

ROUND ROCK, TX — You won't have to stray far to enjoy fireworks on the 4th of July. The annual July 4th Frontier Days Celebration will yield family fun right in your backyard.
Here are the details:
- What: July 4th Frontier Days Celebration featuring creative floats, marching bands, live music, giant helium inflatables, sky divers, watermelon and more.
- Where: Old Settlers Park, 3300 E. Palm Valley Blvd., Round Rock, Texas
- When: Thursday, July 4, 8 p.m.
The 1.5-mile parade route runs north along Mays Street between Mays Crossing and U.S. 79, with a 9 a.m. start time to beat the summer heat. Parking will be available in public garages and on streets. However, city officials note, it's important to note that the route along Mays Street will remain closed before and after the parade. Visitors entering from west of Mays Street should enter downtown from Round Rock Avenue or McNeil Road. Visitors entering from east of Mays Street are encouraged to use Georgetown Street or South Burnet Street.

Independence Day festivities will continue as the Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department hosts Frontier Days, which will begin at noon at Old Settler’s Park, 3300 Palm Valley Blvd.
The afternoon-long event features a pepper eating contest, Sam Bass shootout, full-scale carnival rides, Swifty Swine pig races, live music from the Austin Symphonic Band and a fireworks show starting at dark.
