The Round Rock Chamber has joined the Keep Texas Moving Coalition. The Texas Association of Business (TAB) launched the coalition this summer. Their goal is to Keep Texas Moving to ensure the state’s infrastructure keeps pace with Texas’ economy and rapidly growing population. Texas should welcome and harness private investment and public-private partnerships for the most congested highways to maximize our transportation dollars, freeing up funding for rural and energy sector roadways. The coalition website will soon feature all coalition member names and logos.

The coalition will be a focused, organized advocacy effort to support public-private partnerships as we near the legislative session. There is no cost to join. Last, but not least, the coalition’s purpose is in line with the board-adopted Agenda for Economic Vitality statement that the chamber is committed to ensuring a comprehensive, regional, multimodal approach to mobility that includes public-private partnerships, dedicated user-fees, and loan programs.
