Round Rock: Construction Begins On Heritage Trail West

This week, construction begins on the new Heritage Trail West. Due to construction, Memorial Park will be closed for several months. The project includes a 10-foot-wide trail spanning from Chisholm Trail Road to Mays Street and includes improvements at Bathing Beach Park, Chisholm Trail Crossing Park and Memorial Park. This new 1-mile trail will include elements showcasing Round Rock’s history, open spaces for recreational opportunities and amenities such as a pedestrian bridge and an overlook with views of Brushy Creek.
