Round Rock Council Limits Downtown Bars To Twelve
Ordinance passed to ensure other commercial entities aren't able to fly under the radar in opening alcohol-serving businesses that are bars.

ROUND ROCK, TX — Amid rapid growth in the city bringing in more commercial development, City Council members recently approved capping the number of downtown bars to an even dozen.
The action came on Thursday night during the regular city council meeting. An ordinance was approved placing the limit, unanimously approved on the second reading that amended the downtown mixed-use zoning districts to ensure the limit is enforceable.
