Gathering at city council chambers is designed as a meet-and-greet session to residents interested in serving on boards and commissions.

ROUND ROCK, TX — A special called city council meeting is scheduled in Round Rock, designed as a forum on informing residents how to be a part of local government.

The Thursday, July 25 meeting is scheduled from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at city council chambers. The gathering serves as a meet-and-greet session with city board and commission applicants.

"This will allow city council members to meet the applicants and ask questions regarding their interest in serving the city on a board or commission," officials explained in a municipal post.
