Round Rock Deadline For Boards, Commissions Approaching
Applications currently being accepted for 2018 appointments with deadline on Monday, July 23.

ROUND ROCK, TX — The deadline to apply for 2018 board and commission appointments is fast approaching.
Applications are currently being accepted for 2018 board and commission appointments.Boards and commissions enable citizens to participate in Round Rock city government by bringing diverse viewpoints to decision-making and advisory processes, officials explained.
Members are appointed by city council members each year in August and as needed when vacancies occur. Terms last two years and are staggered on each board or commission.All applicants must meet residency requirements (those living inside the city limits for last 12 consecutive months) and be registered voters in the City of Round Rock.

All boards and commissions are currently accepting applications. The application deadline is Monday, July 23, with appointments to take place in August. Interested parties may contact the City Clerk at swhite@roundrocktexas.gov or by phone at 512-218-5404.
