Round Rock: Downtown Road Closures Scheduled Wednesday, May 5

If you’re headed to Downtown Round Rock on May 5, be sure to make a parking plan before you leave the house.

Some roads in the heart of Downtown will be closed in anticipation of increased pedestrian traffic due to Cinco de Mayo and the Music on Main concert series.

The following streets will be closed at 6 p.m. on May 5:

• East Main Street from South Sheppard Street to Mays Street
• West Main Street from Mays Street to Blair Street
• Mays Street will remain fully accessible

The good news is that there are plenty of free parking options in Downtown. Head down a little early, grab a bite to eat at a local restaurant, and stake out your spot close to the stage.
