Round Rock Fire Investigators Release Cause Of House Fire
Fire that occurred Friday along the 2700 block of Lake Forest Drive was caused by a candle that fell off a dresser, causes $30K in damages.

ROUND ROCK, TX — Fire investigators have determined the cause of a house fire that occurred this past Friday.
The fire occurred June 23 along the 2700 block of Lake Forest Drive. Fire crews were alerted to the house fire at about 7:18 p.m., city officials said. Within five minutes of the call, the first fire units arrived at the scene, initially reporting smoke emanating from the structure. Upon entry, fire crews found a fire in the rear bedroom.
There were no injuries reported as a result of the fire, and a child who was reported to have been on the second floor was found unharmed in the backyard. The cause of the fire was determined to be a candle warmer that fell off a dresser.

The home sustained about $30,000 worth of structural damage and destroyed contents within.
