Round Rock Fire Officials Continue Investigation Tio Dan Puffy Tacos Fire

Conflagration erupted late Saturday at popular eatery, ultimately causing about a quarter-million dollars in property damage.

ROUND ROCK, TX — An investigation continues into what caused a fire resulting in extensive damage at a popular taco place in Round Rock over the weekend.

According to city officials, the fire at Tio Dan Puffy Tacos at 405 Round Rock Ave. that erupted at around 10:45 p.m. on Saturday caused some $250,000 in property damage.

The fire was put under control 18 minutes after the arrival of firefighters, and was fully extinguished a little over 30 minutes later. By 2 a.m. on Sunday, the remaining fire crew departed the scene.
