Round Rock Hazardous Household Waste Collection Event Slated
Recurring event enabling the safe disposal of unsafe materials is scheduled for Sept. 4 at the Recycling Center, 310 Deepwood Dr.
ROUND ROCK, TX — Got hazardous waste lying around the house but not sure how to dispose of it? Worry not, as the next Household Hazardous Waste Collection event is scheduled this week.
The next iteration of this recurring event is scheduled Sept. 4 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Round Rock residents can safely dispose of residential paint and other household chemicals during the monthly event.
This is staged at the Recycling Center, 310 Deepwood Dr., on the first Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. (rain or shine).

- The event is free for City of Round Rock water utility customers. Those availing themselves of this opportunity are asked to take their driver’s license with them along with a municipal water bill as proof of residency.
- Brushy Creek MUD and Fern Bluff MUD residents, can pick up a “Household Hazardous Waste Disposal Voucher” from their MUD office to bring it to the collection.
- Non-residents: The cost to drop off materials is $40 per car, cash or check payments are accepted.
