Round Rock HS Parent to Press Charges Against Cop
A parent said a police officer used excessive force on his son, the incident was caught on camera.

A Round Rock parent says a police officer used excessive force on his 14-year-old son, and he is planning on pressing charges.
Another student took a video of the incident, which wasΒ acquired by KXAN. About a minute into the video, an officer is seen grabbing the student by the neck, before both officers bring him to the ground and handcuff him.

Apparently, the student was involved in a fight with another student over football goggles and school administrators called the police.
βThe student refused to calm down and was attempting to get passed the School Resource Officers to the location of the other student to continue with the altercation,β the police said in a press release. βAfter repeated attempts to calm the non-compliant student, and stop him from going after the other student, officers were forced to detain him for his safety and the safety of others.β
