Round Rock ISD School Board Members Delay Discussion On Filling Vacated Trustee Seat
Terri Romere announced earlier this month of her plan to focus on her children and business as reasons for her departure.

ROUND ROCK, TX — Round Rock school board members voted Thursday to postpone discussion until next month on how to replace a board seat being vacated by a trustee who is stepping down with one year left on her term.
In a 4-3 vote, Round Rock ISD board members opted to wait until February when they will concurrently discuss the possibility of staging a May bond election, the Austin American-Statesman reported. Such timing would enable the board to hold a special election to fill the seat being vacated by Terri Romere while concurrently stating the bond referendum.
As part of February's discussion on filling Romere's unexpired term, school board members will craft detailed timelines for both elections and discuss the vagaries of each option.
