Round Rock Lauded For Video Excellence

The city's Communications and Marketing team won 4 awards from the Texas Association of Telecommunications Officer and Advisors.

ROUND ROCK, TX — The City of Round Rock has been recognized among the top in the state for excellence in video production, officials recently announced.

Earlier this month, the city’s Communications and Marketing team took home four awards from the Texas Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors annual conference that took place in Corpus Christi from Nov. 7-8.

Round Rock earned the following awards in categories for cities with video operating budgets under $200,000:

The city’s video efforts are overseen by Multimedia Specialist Ethan Lankford and include providing content for Round Rock’s government/education cable access on Spectrum Cable Channel 10, recording public meetings such as city council and producing videos for the city’s main social media and digital channels.
