From families settling in, to businesses putting down economic roots, itβs no surprise that WalletHub recently listed Round Rock among the fastest-growing cities in the United States.

Round Rock came in at No. 8 in the publicationβs most recent analysis, which compared 515 cities of varying population sizes based on 17 key measures of both growth and decline over a period of seven years to determine where the fastest local economic growth has occurred.
The study looked outside of simple factors like population growth, diving deeper into other critical economic success factors such as unemployment rate decrease and growth in regional GDP per capita.

βExperts might not agree on the βbestβ or the βrightβ recipe for rapid economic growth, but some cities know the key ingredients for long-term prosperity better than others. Patterns emerge within those cities, allowing us to identify what factors contribute to a lasting cycle of growth,β said Adam McCann, WalletHubβs Financial Writer.
