Austin Man Arrested For Round Rock Burglaries
Michael Moreira, 26, was arrested Aug. 23 on multiple charges — including at least three burglaries in Round Rock.
ROUND ROCK, TX — Round Rock police arrested a man accused of burglarizing numerous businesses throughout Central Texas — including at least three in Round Rock — according to a published report.
Michael Moreira, 26, was arrested Aug. 23 on multiple charges, including burglary of a building, theft of a firearm, and credit card abuse, Fox 7 reported. Additionally, he is a suspect in numerous commercial burglaries across the area, according to the report.
Round Rock police reportedly found Moreira with stolen credit cards, forged checks, burglary tools and illegal drugs. Fox 7 reports that burglars hit two Mexican restaurants in Round Rock in less than a week this past August. The manager of La Margarita reported an employee had arrived early to work to find the eatery open, the report indicated.
