Round Rock Man Arrested For Possession Of Child Pornography

ROUND ROCK, TX — Police arrested a Round Rock man for possession of child pornography on Tuesday, officials said.

A search warrant was executed Tuesday morning at 1800 Plateau Vista Blvd. in Round Rock as part of an investigation that began in March. Police attention to the case started after receiving a report from Instagram alerting to the uploading of child pornography images.

Pedro Nimaja-Pol, 38, subsequently was arrested for possession of child porn, the Williamson County Sheriff's Office said in a press advisory. They were aided in the case by the members of the Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce and SWAT, sheriff's officials said.

County law enforcement officials said their investigation is ongoing, and detectives are still retrieving images from electronic devices seized during the search.
