Round Rock Man Charged With Possession Of Child Pornography

Eric Christopher Lucas, 45, was ultimately charged with six counts and booked into the Williamson County Jail.

ROUND ROCK, TX — Williamson County Sheriffs Office recently arrested a man subsequently charged with several counts of child pornography.

Sheriff's officials were called to assist the Child Exploitation Unit of the Texas Attorney General's Office on March 15 at about 5:45 p.m. to execute an arrest at 7720 O'Connor Dr. Investigators with the AG's office had executed an evidentiary search warrant for child pornography, officials said, and the local sheriff's office assisted agent in collecting evidence.

The Williamson County Sheriff's Office identified the suspect as Eric Christoper Lucas, 45. While executing the search warrant, agents with the AG's office located the following items:

  • 1.2 ounces of marijuana.
  • 1 dosage unit Cialis of 5 milligrams.
  • 10 dosage units orange unknown pills with imprint E20.
  • 261 dosage units unknown gray pills.
  • 27 dosage units unknown purple pills.
  • 3.1 grams of marijuana.
  • Two electric vaporizers used to smoke marijuana.
  • 1 small bag of K2, a synthetic marijuana.
  • Miscellaneous drug paraphernalia, including empty clear plastic baggies, digital scales, pill bottle, cut straw, pill crusher.
  • Six firearms, including a Ruger LCP 9 millimeter; Ruger .22 target pistol with optic; Glock 23C .40 caliber pistol with tactical light mounted; Berretta .22 pistol; Walther 9 millimeter pistol; Glock 42 .380.

Lucas was subsequently arrested by attorney general's office agents and charged with six counts of possession of child pornography, each carrying a felony surety bond of $12,500, according to Williamson County Jail records.
