Round Rock Man Dies After Gatesville Explosion
Filiberto Morales, 36, was working at construction site at Coryell Memorial Hospital north of Fort Hood when the blast occurred.

ROUND ROCK, TX — A Round Rock man injured in a construction site explosion in Gatesville, Texas, earlier this week has died, according to police officials.
Filiberto Morales, 36, of Round Rock was working at a construction site adjacent to Coryell Memorial Hospital north of Fort Hood when an explosion occurred at around 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Morales succumbed to his injuries at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday, a spokeswoman for the Gatesville Police Department told Patch over the telephone.
Morales worked for Network Controls, a South Carolina-based electrical contracting firm, according to police. He died after having been rushed to Scott & White Hospital in Temple, Texas, police said in a press release.

One Dead In Explosion At Coryell Memorial Health Hospital
Another construction worker, Michael Bruggman, 44, of Rogers, Texas, died in the immediate aftermath of the explosion that also injured 14 others, the police spokeswoman told Patch. Rogers is a small town of about 1,200 residents located in southeastern Bell County
No hospital employees or patients were injured from the explosion, the hospital's CEO previously said.
The cause of the blast is still undetermined. An investigation into the cause of the explosion is ongoing.
