Round Rock Officers Hospitalized After Lightning Strike IDed
Patrick Turck and John Schulz were checked out after nearby lightning hit, along with support technician Josh Lake.

ROUND ROCK — The identities of the two Round Rock police officers who injured in a lightning strike on Sunday have been released.
A police spokesman told media outlets the two offices taken to the hospital as a precaution following the strike are Patrick Turck and John Schulz. Additionally, support technician Josh Lake was identiified as a third victim. The three were transported to Seton Medical Center Williamson to be checked out before being released the same day.
The three men were near the scene of a pedestrian traffic death on Sunday when lightning struck near them.
