Round Rock Officials Eye Annexation Of 114-Plus Acres

The tract is located on the northeast corner of North A.W. Grimes Boulevard and CR 186.

ROUND ROCK, TX — City officials have proposed annexing to expand the municipal boundary limits by more than 114 acres, officials said.

The 114.47 acres of land being eyed for annexation are from the J. Mott Survey, also described as Hickerson-Keith Annexation, located on the northeast corner of North A.W. Grimes Boulevard and CR 186 in Williamson County.

The first public hearing on the on the plans is scheduled at Aug. 10, 2017, at 7 p.m. The meeting will be staged in City Hall council chambers, 221 E. Main Street. Those wishing to address council members are urged to arrive 15 minutes early in order to sign up.
