Round Rock Officials Win Six Awards For Its Marketing Efforts
Texas Association of Municipal Information bestows city with four first-place honors and one apiece for second- and third-place awards.

ROUND ROCK, TX — The city recently received six awards—including four first place honors— for its communications and marketing efforts from the Texas Association of Municipal Information Officers, officials said.
All told, the city won four first-place awards, one second- and one third-place awards at the awards conference June 8 in Lakeway, Texas. The first-place awards garnered were for its Purrr-fect Budget Video, two for the “Lost Teddy” Facebook initiative that reunited a little girl and her lost teddy bear, and the Immortal Ten Bridge video. Second place was for the When Thunder Roars, Go Indoors public service announcement video. The Music on Main event promotional poster won third place honors.
