Bigfoot Sightings Reported In Small Texas Town β And There's 'Video Evidence'
Grainy video issued by city park officials shows a large, dark, Bigfoot-shaped figure lumbering along Brushy Creek Trail in Round Rock, TX.

ROUND ROCK, TX β In a series of ominous Facebook posts over the past couple weeks, park officials in the small town of Round Rock, situated on the outskirts of Austin, have been sharing evidence that a strange creature may be living in the woods nearby. And they've been urging members of the public to come to them with any other sightings of a similar nature.
First came the footprints. "Our park ranger surveillance has captured strange footprints at various parks & trails in the area," officials wrote on June 10.
Then, some "curious" hair clumps turned up along Interstate 35.

And finally, last Friday, the Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department released grainy, seven-second video footage of a large, dark figure lumbering along Brushy Creek Trail β right near where the footprints had first been spotted.
The figure in the video, they noted, looks remarkably similar to the elusive beast known as Bigfoot.

The city-issued footage has since been viewed tens of thousands of times on Facebook.
Strangely, though, in the days since it was posted, no SWAT teams have been called out to Round Rock. Chaos and lawnessness have yet to grip the small town. Not a single emergency alert has been issued to nearby residents, nor to the American people at large.
Instead, local Parks & Rec officials have continued to calmly solicit photos and footage of any other Bigfoot sightings in more deadpan posts on social media.
So what gives? Is this the legendary Bigfoot? Have government employees in Round Rock lost their minds? Or has the cast of "Parks and Recreation" simply hacked into the city's social-media accounts for a bit of fun?
One local TV news station, at least, suspects it may be a ploy by city officials "to get more children to come out and enjoy their parks":
Whatever the case, residents are skeptical.
"So someone just happened to be out on a stroll with their 1987 VHS video recorder?" one Facebook commenter asked.
"He will get caught once he hits the traffic in Round Rock," another commenter predicted of the trials ahead for Bigfoot. "He won't be able to move. Better stay in the woods."
A third commenter was more optimistic: "Cue up the X-Files theme song. I want to believe."
