Round Rock PD Seeks Help Solving Fatal Hit-And-Run Case
Cleveland Deshon Elliott, 24, was struck and killed on April 17 by a driver who fled the scene and is now sought by police.
ROUND ROCK, TX — Round Rock police continue to investigate an auto-pedestrian fatality that occurred in the morning hours of an April day while seeking information from the public, police said Thursday.
The incident occurred at around 1:40 a.m. on April 17 along Gattis School Road near Surrey Drive when Cleveland Deshon Elliott, 24, was struck and killed by a vehicle before the motorist fled the scene. The vehicle involved is described as a blue passenger car without a sunroof and with LED or HID headlights. The vehicle has possible damage to the front or may have been recently repaired.
At the time of the incident, the vehicle entered Round Rock westbound on Gattis School Road from Williamson County. Police released surveillance camera footage from the incident hoping it might spark information from the public.
