Round Rock Police ID Elderly Pedestrian Killed By Car

ROUND ROCK, TX — Police on Friday identified the elderly man who was killed after being killed by a vehicle earlier this week.

Richard Osowski, 71, was hit Thursday at around 7:30 p.m. as he was crossing RM 620 near Briarwood Street, just west of Interstate 35, police said. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver reportedly stopped after the collision and cooperated with the police investigation, officials told the Austin American-Statesman. It's unclear if any charges are pending against the driver.
