ROUND ROCK, TEXAS — Round Rock police are investigating a shooting that left one person dead and another critically injured, officials said on Monday. The incident occurred in the 650 block of Louis Henna Boulevard, police said. Both victims were found with gunshot wounds, officials added. The shooting reportedly took place at the Cordevalle Apartments near Louis Henna &amp; Greenlawn boulevards, east of Interstate 35. Police stressed the shooting appears to be an "isolated incident" with no lingering threat to the public. Police use such verbiage when such violent encounters are believed to be limited to transactions between suspects and victims rather than random attacks. It's unclear if any arrests have been made. In a press notice, police did not specify the time of the shooting or the genders and ages of the victims.
